Founded on 16 October 2008 by Ricardo Cruz, the company was born out of a passion for technology and the belief that many devices can have a longer lifespan when they receive a competent diagnosis and a proper repair.
Over the years, our activities have evolved beyond technical support. Today, Ricardo Cruz – Informática also provides web and software development services, supporting individuals and businesses with a range of technological needs.

Hello, I'm Ricardo Cruz. I'm an IT technician, an entrepreneur and, above all, someone who believes technology should make people's lives simpler, never more complicated.
My connection with IT began long before it became my profession. I’ve always been curious to understand how things work, to find solutions to problems and to discover new ways of using technology. That interest turned into a passion and, later, into a life’s work.
On 16 October 2008, I founded Ricardo Cruz Informática. I built this business from the ground up, with dedication, persistence and an idea that continues to guide me: to treat every piece of equipment as if it were my own and every customer as I would like to be treated.
From day one, I sought to create more than just a repair shop: a place where people could find clear answers, honest advice and solutions tailored to their needs. The company has grown, technology has evolved and the challenges have become more demanding, but the principles remain the same. Trust is earned through attitude, expertise and transparency.
Technology is constantly evolving. So am I. I enjoy analysing, diagnosing and understanding the root causes of problems. Investigating, learning and persevering are part of my job, but also part of who I am. It isn’t always worth repairing a device, and I consider it essential to explain the options to those who place their trust in me.
Behind every computer or mobile phone there is a person and something that matters: work, studies or memories that cannot be replaced. That is why I strive to approach every situation with responsibility and respect, avoiding unnecessary repairs or expenditure. From the relationships of trust I have built with individuals and businesses, I take pride in seeing someone return because they trusted my work.
Curiosity and an entrepreneurial spirit also drive me to explore new tools, digital solutions and opportunities for innovation. Experience teaches us a great deal; continuing to question and learn allows us to grow. I strive to do this without losing sight of the human touch, even in an increasingly digital world.
Today, I continue to lead Ricardo Cruz Informática with the same enthusiasm that led me to embark on this journey. More than just repairing equipment, I want to solve problems, simplify everyday life and earn the trust of those who turn to me. Thank you for being part of this story.
